I don’t usually visit wedding venues in advance. Most weddings I photograph are at venues I haven’t worked at before, and with over 15 years of experience, I’m very comfortable adapting quickly to new surroundings.
Every wedding is set up uniquely, so a venue can look very different on the day itself. I arrive early, take time to assess the light and layout, and work naturally with the space to capture your day beautifully.
I am prepared for every scenario, including bad weather! We can still get beautiful cozy indoor photos and if the rain stops (even for just 10 minutes) we can dash outside and get some great shots in (and not alcohol shots)
For the vast majority of weddings, I work alone. Having said that I absolutely second shooter if you have over 100 guests, would like multiple group shots or if you want both bride and groom prep covered.
Absolutely. My public liability insurance covers me for 5 Million. I carry a large amount of high end back up equipment incase of a technical issue.
Yes, I absolutely do! Your images are backed up securely after your wedding. That said, I only guarantee to keep hold of them for 6 months, so it’s really important that you download and back them up yourselves too. Think multiple copies and different places 😊
In the unlikely event I am unwell (I have not missed one wedding due to illness in over 15 years) I have a network of professional photographers that can cover. They will have a similar style to mine and a very similar cost.
Your online gallery will be available for unlimited downloads for at least 6 months. If you book a package with 5 hours or more, we’ll also send you a beautiful, personalised USB so you can keep your images safely backed up at home.
No, you don’t have to — but it’s always lovely if you do! Wedding days are long, and a quick meal helps us stay energised and focused😊
You receive the first ‘sneak peak’ gallery of around 50-60 images within 24 hours (if I have a wedding the next day, which is seldomly, the gallery will be available in around 48 hours). The work is fully completed in around 10 days to up to 4 weeks maximum. Longer in peak times. The average completion time is 2-3 weeks.

I’ll send over all the paperwork along with details on how to pay the £100 deposit to secure your date. All package details and pricing will be clearly confirmed in the paperwork. The remaining balance isn’t due until almost a week after your wedding, giving you extra peace of mind and making the process as easy and stress-free as possible.
