Rackleys Barn Prices 2026 | Wedding Photographer Buckinghamshire
If you’re looking at Rackleys Barn for your wedding, you’ve probably already fallen a little bit in love with the place! I can fully understand why. I’ve photographed many weddings there over the years, and it is still one of my fave places to work.
Of course, one of the first things most couples want to know is the cost. Rackleys Barn Prices can vary quite a lot, depending on when you get married and which day of the week you choose.
There are some lovely options available if you’re able to be flexible with your date.
I’m also offering 20% off autumn and winter weddings, plus 15% off Monday to Friday weddings of 5 hours or more.
I’d particularly love to photograph an autumn or winter wedding at Rackleys. All of the weddings I’ve photographed there so far have been during the summer, so seeing the venue in a completely different season would be rather special.
Rackleys Barn Prices – what can you expect to pay?
The published Rackleys Barn Prices for 2026 start at £2,800 for some Monday to Wednesday dates in January and February.
At the other end, peak Saturday dates can be £10,200.
That is quite a difference, but it does give you some room to play with your budget.
For weddings from April to September, Monday to Wednesday dates are currently £4,100. Thursdays are £5,200, while Fridays are £7,800.
Saturday weddings are £10,200 during this period. Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays are £7,200.
October is a little cheaper. Monday to Wednesday dates start at £3,500, with Saturdays at £7,800.
November starts from £2,900 during the week. Saturday dates are £5,200.
In December, the published Rackleys Barn Prices start at £3,500 for Monday to Wednesday weddings. Saturdays are £7,800.

Personally, I think the quieter months are worth considering. Not only can the venue be less expensive, but your wedding will have a completely different vibe.
What I love about Rackleys Barn
There are plenty of beautiful wedding venues around Buckinghamshire, but Rackleys has always had something about it that I really like.
The barn itself is full of character. It has old beams, exposed brick and lots of natural light. Outside, the views across the Chiltern Hills are beautiful.
More importantly, though, it never feels too formal.
A wedding can be relaxed here. Guests can wander outside with a drink, children can play on the grass and everyone can simply enjoy being together.
That makes my job much easier.
I photograph weddings in a natural, documentary style. The day is allowed to happen rather than being stopped every five minutes for photographs.

When I’m photographing at Rackleys, I’m usually watching what is going on around me. A little moment between a bride and her mum might be captured. The grandparents tears, the nervous groom before the ceremony.
Those are often the photographs that end up meaning the most.
Rackleys Barn Prices and what is included
When you’re comparing Rackleys Barn Prices with other venues, it’s worth looking at what you actually get for the venue hire.
Rackleys is an exclusive-use venue. The barn, outbuildings and grounds are included, so the whole setting can be enjoyed by you and your guests.
The bridal suite is available from 8am on the wedding day. It has its own en-suite, which is particularly useful when getting ready.
There is also the option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony. A mezzanine, outdoor furniture, garden games and lighting are included too.

For me, having so much of the wedding in one place is a real bonus.
It means I can photograph the morning preparations, ceremony, drinks, dinner and evening celebrations without everyone having to travel between different locations.
What else needs to be budgeted for?
The Rackleys Barn Prices are for the venue hire, so other wedding costs will need to be added.
Catering is one of the main ones. Absolute Cuisine provides the catering at Rackleys, and several options are available.
For 2026, the published menus start at £90 per person. The Oak Menu is £110 per person.
There are also choices such as paella, hot buffets, tagine and hog roast. A minimum catering spend of £7,000 applies.
Your photographer, flowers, entertainment, cake, dress and suits will then need to be considered.
It’s always better to look at the whole wedding rather than just the venue price. That way, there are fewer surprises later on.
Why the date can make such a difference

One thing that stands out when looking at Rackleys Barn Prices is the difference between a Saturday in summer and a weekday in the quieter months.
If you’ve always imagined a Saturday wedding in July, that might be exactly what you want. There is nothing wrong with that.
However, if you’re open to another day, quite a few more possibilities become available.
A Friday wedding could be a fab compromise. You still get that lovely wedding-weekend feeling, but the venue cost is lower than a Saturday during the main season.
Autumn is another option thats definitely worth thinking about.
The colours around the Chiltern Hills are absolutely gorgeous. Inside the barn, a cosy autumn wedding would look stunning..
Winter would be completely different again.
The warm barn, the darker evenings and everyone gathered together inside could make for some beautiful photographs.
That’s also why my 20% Autumn and Winter offer is currently available.

Rackleys Barn Prices for weekday weddings
For couples who don’t need a Saturday, the Rackleys Barn Prices can be much more appealing.
Monday to Wednesday dates are often the least expensive. Thursdays and Fridays sit somewhere in between, depending on the month.
I’m also offering 15% off Monday to Friday weddings (5 hours or more)
A shorter photography package can work really well for a weekday wedding. Perhaps you don’t need the bridal prep photographed. Maybe you’d rather have the ceremony, drinks, group photographs and part of the evening covered.
There’s no reason to pay for hours you don’t actually need.
The photography should fit around YOUR plans, not the other way around.

My approach to wedding photography at Rackleys
I’m not a photographer who wants to spend most of your wedding day posing you.
There will be a few family pics, because I know how important those are. Plus of course some couple shots
After that, though, you’ll be encouraged to get back to your guests.
The rest will be photographed as it happens, spontaneously. I will blend into the background and offer gentle guidance when needed.
Those moments can’t really be planned.
They just happen.
My job is to notice them.
Is Rackleys worth the money?
I think it is, although obviously every couple has a different budget.
The Rackleys Barn Prices are going to be higher for some dates than others. That is simply how wedding venues work.
What I really love is that there are different options. A weekday or quieter-season wedding can be considered if a summer Saturday doesn’t suit your budget.
The setting is also a big part of the appeal.
You’re getting the beautiful barn, the grounds and the Chiltern Hills all in one place. Because exclusive use is offered, the day can be kept private and relaxed.
For a photographer, it’s a dream setting.
For a couple, I think it can make the whole day feel very easy.
If you’re considering Rackleys Barn
When you’re looking at Rackleys Barn Prices, don’t just look at the biggest number you see.
Have a look at different months. Check Fridays and weekdays. Ask about the dates that might not immediately be on your radar.
You might find that a date you hadn’t considered gives you a much better overall wedding budget.
As a photographer who has worked at Rackleys many times, I can honestly say that I never get bored of photographing weddings there.
Every couple is different. Every wedding has its own atmosphere. The photographs are never quite the same.
That’s probably what I love most about it.
So, if you’re planning a Rackleys wedding and are looking for natural wedding photography without lots of posing, I’d love to hear from you.
And if you’re looking at Rackleys Barn Prices for an autumn, winter or weekday wedding, don’t forget that my current offers are available too.
20% off autumn and winter weddings.
15% off Monday to Friday weddings of 5 hours or more.
I’d love to photograph a few more Rackleys weddings in a different season. It would be lovely to see what this beautiful Chiltern Hills venue looks like when summer has disappeared and something completely different is happening outside.
